Money Mommy...

It amazes me everyday how much my kids have grown up! I can't believe Hunter will be 9 months old in two weeks! He is crawling at full blast now...and getting into EVERYTHING! Nothing is safe from this little kids grasps! And he's on full blown table food now and chompin' everything pretty well despite that he has no teeth yet! My kids have always been late bloomers when it comes to getting their teeth. Haylie didn't get her first tooth until she was 11 months old...then I think she got 4 at once! I think she's finally trying to get her "vampire" (as I call them) teeth! It's about time huh?!
Last night we went to Walmart to pick up some grocery items and some sinus medicine for me (I am almost down and out with my sinuses this week). I dunno if every wal-mart has a family fun center in it (it's a place with the claw stuffed animal games, a few arcade games, and the quarter machines)...anyway...whenever we get to the check out Haylie always has a melt down when we take whatever she's playing with in the shopping cart, to check out... so I always leave Michael to check out and take Haylie to run around the family fun center. They have this ride thingy with winnie the pooh and she likes to climb on it...granted we never have any quarters to do anything in the family fun center. Well last night when we walked in Haylie looks up at me and says "Haylie's going to need some money mommy!" Now what 2 year old knows that it takes money to make these things work? I must say it was the cutest thing ever! Although she's starting a tad bit early with the asking parents for money thing! :) It always suprises me what she can say! She's always been a great talker...but I just wonder where she learns all her words from and manages to put them in a sentence that actually makes sense. This weekend we were at my mom's house and she was playing with dominoes with her Uncle Ray and Aunt Mandy building things and when she spilled a whole bunch of dominoes on the floor she said Uncle Ray and Aunt Mandy help me out guys! Haha...she's such a cute!

Randomness

Today Haylie and Hunter have a special visitor! Their uncle Ray has come up to visit! Ray and his fiance Mandy came up late last night after the kids were asleep. Mandy has a nursing conference today in Little Rock, so we get to spend the day with Uncle Ray! Haylie loves all her Aunties and her Uncle Ray! She's cuddling in his lap right now watching Monsters Inc! Unfortunately she woke up with a fever, 101.6, so we have to keep an eye on it! It makes me nervous when she runs fever, because she started having feveral seizures when she turned 1, whenever her temp reaches 103 she could go into a seizure....yikes...very scary for this mama! But luckily for us she's been fever free since she got tubes in her ears a year ago!
So Valentine's Day came and went. For dinner that night Michael took me out for sushi, I never would have thought that a year ago that I would like sushi, but I do!! We took the kids to the zoo earlier that afternoon and spent 3 hours there! It's always so fun just walking around the zoo and hearing Haylie yell out what the animals are and make the noises. When she saw the Zebra this time she said "Mommy! It's the move it move it!" She's become a big fan of Madagascar! It was too cute! We'll be going back to the Zoo in March because they have a free day for everyone! Gotta love free entertainment! I must get those pictures uploaded on my computer so I can scrap them! Unfortunately Haylie was not in a picture taking mood that day...but I got a few good pictures of Hunter! Until I can get those pictures scrapped you can enjoy a few scrapbook pages I've made these past couple weeks.

The Times...They Are A Changing!

Hunter has decided this week that he's going to be a crawler!! And boy has he taken off! He can get anywhere...and fast! I can't turn my back for one minute or he's gone now! I think Haylie is really enjoying him crawling. She keeps running behind him screaming Hunter's crawling Hunter's crawling! Michael mentioned last night that we just need a big pen to hold him up in...like a big gated area for him to crawl and play in...haha! Unfortunately now that he's crawling I know it won't be long until he's walking! Man, kids just grow up way too fast!

Speaking of growing too fast...Haylie no longer wants to swing in the baby swing...she needs the big girl swing! Here's a scrapbook page I did of her swinging like a big girl!

YMCA Collab Charity Kit!!

Okay Guys!! Steph has another new kit available on her blog! This one is a YMCA collab! It is available by donation, which you can donate by using the paypal on her blog, or you can fill out the pledge sheet which is included in the download and mail it back to her.

The YMCA runs a annual fundraiser called Partners With Youth every February. Our goal this year is to earn $198,000. PWY funds programs for homeless youth, such as a weekend program where the kids can come in and shower, shave, get some clean clothes and just hang out. PWY also funds scholarships for low income families so they can send their kids to summer camp, retreats and even for YMCA memberships. They also have a new program that is an intervention for obese kids. The PWY fundraising campaign is run 100% by volunteers, so $ .95 of every dollar goes straight to the programs. You can choose to donate monthly (ei. $10 a month) or a one-time donation. Please join us in donating to this wonderful program! Thanks!

Onto the Kit!

Happy Day!!

My little man is getting such a personality! He started clapping this week! It's too cute. Whenever he hears music he starts clapping and kind of bobs to the music. He's really getting the momma down! He says like mmmm moom moom. Hehe. I think he's going to be a big talker like his sister (Lord Help Us!..must invest in ear plugs)! I can't believe how fast kids grow up! Michael's gotten off work late the past two days...and I dunno about you guys...but when you're home all day doing the houswifey duties and takin' care of the kids..you don't want an extra two hours added on to that! Plus having to feed two kids and eat yourself at the same time is not fun! So hopefully he'll get off on time tonight!
I had a speed scrap yesterday at Nicoles! It was so much fun and I got a layout that I Love!!
I've also been working on some scrapbooking challenges on a few forums...and this is what I've down so far this month!

A New Month

I can't believe that January has come and gone already! I hope that's not a sign of how fast this year is going to go! I must say, we had a pretty good January! I didn't catch on to the project 365 early enough, that's where you take a picture for every day of the year so you can go back and reflect on the year. But I 've decided to take my own spin on it and do like a monthly thing. Where I take a few pictures out of the month that reflect what went on and write a little journal entry about our month. So here is my January 2009 page!

My kids now have their own rooms...that was a big step for me. I'm still kinda weepy. I thought for some reason if they shared a room that they'd have like special sibling bonding...but ohh well. They slept better last night! Hunter fussed a little bit and we didn't have to rush in there to get him thinking he'd wake up Haylie...and he actually went back to sleep on his own! Yay!
